Jane’s Habit cancels tour; Perry Farrell apologizes

Sept. 17 (UPI) — The alt-rock band Jane’s Habit has canceled the remainder of its tour after lead singer Perry Farrell tried to punch guitarist Dave Navarro on stage in the course of the weekend.

“The band have made the tough resolution to take a while away as a gaggle,” the musicians said in a statement Monday. “As such, they are going to be cancelling the rest of the tour.”

The announcement got here after Farrell was faraway from the stage final Friday for hitting Navarro’s guitar whereas he was performing a solo late within the present.

“This weekend has been extremely tough and after having the time and area to mirror, it is just proper that I apologize to my bandmates, particularly Dave Navarro, followers, household and pals for my actions throughout Friday’s present,” Farrell mentioned in a press release to Selection on Monday.
